About

About

Nestled in Catoctin Valley between the Short Hill and Furnace Mountains, Domaine Fortier is a boutique winery focused on small lot hand-crafted high quality wines. The 34 acre property is located in Lovetteville, Virginia with 10 acres planted with predominately vitis vinifera varietals.

The Fortier’s purchased the property in 2018 and hired industry experts to assess the terroir to determine varietal selection and optimal location for vine plantings. 2023 marks our first harvest of estate graphes! Since 2020, we have been purchasing fruit primarily from Loudoun County growers, and making wine at Walsh Family Wines under the tutelage of Nate Walsh.
