2021 Petit Verdot
A beautiful representation of Loudoun County terroir. Smooth tannins and lively acidity.
Tasting Notes
James Suckling describes this wine as: “Juicy berries and plums are intertwined with loamy earth and oak spices on the nose. The dark, generous palate shows savory tannins and powerful flavors of warm figs, blackberry coulis and touches of graham crackers and spices. A nice pop of acidity keeps it fresh. Drink or hold.”
Technical Notes
100% Petit Verdot. The wine spent 18 months in barrel–a mix of 20% new French oak and 80% second and third year French oak.
