Le Pivot is the first blend produced by Domaine Fortier Vineyards.
Tasting Notes
A medium-bodied, Bordeaux-like style blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Tannat. Notes of red and black cherry, raspberry and white pepper. An easy drinking wine you’ll turn to day in and day out. Best when consumed with friends.
Can be aged for at least another five years. We recommend decanting or aerating the bottle at least 30 minutes before drinking.
Technical Notes
Le Pivot was aged in 22% new French oak barrels, and 78% in slightly used French oak barrels for 16 months. The wine is 45% Cabernet Franc, 45% Merlot and 10% Tannat.
